AFL: Swans Win!

Image from SMH
What a day. What a win.
I liked the SMH photos but the story was pretty poor. To read a better version of the results, check out Sensational Swans sink Eagles:
Sydney has ended a 72-year drought with victory in the AFL grand final by just four points over West Coast at the MCG.
The Swans 8.10 (58) defeated the Eagles 7.12 (54) after brilliant defender Leo Barry took one of the most incredible pressure marks of all-time, clenching a beauty in the pack in the West Coast forward line, in the dying seconds.
His mark ended the Eagles' chances of clinching a crucial last-minute goal to take the victory and sealed the closest grand final since the 1997 draw between North Melbourne and Collingwood.
West Coast's Chris Judd won the Norm Smith Medal, only the fourth player on a losing team to claim the honour, while Sydney's Nic Fosdike, Adam Goodes, Barry Hall and Lewis Roberts-Thomson were among the winners' best.
...
Despite some unbelievably tense moments, goals from Hall and Amon Buchanan - the last two of the match - in the end, helped the Swans to their finest moment since 1933.

P.S. The blog will change back to the normal "burnt orange" colour sometime later over the weekend. The red and white is to honour the Swans for winning...

Ack and here's me thinking isn't it lucky that the colour scheme goes so well, just imagine if Richmond had been in it - ghastly combo, completely vile...:) they did a good job those Swannies.
Cheers,
Ell
