The Value of Beer

A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.

This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.

In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers, and that's why beer is so GOOD for you!

There is a flaw in the thinking of this theorem that no-one ever picks up on. The difference between the herd of buffalo and the synapsis of your brain is that the buffalo are a collective of individuals while your brain is one entity. The passage of alcohol through your brain, kills off the weaker cells and weakens the stronger cells. When the herd loses its weakest member the herd becomes stronger because they are individuals and the other individuals are not negatively effected by the predator catching its prey.

Now the real question is "DO we really care if beer is good for us?", I think not! I know the consequences of my beer drinking, yet I still drink it. Until they come up with a great tasting alternative for beer, that is god for us, I will continue to drink beer until I die. Hopefully that won't be for many more hundreds of thousands of pints. ;-)

Me and a buddy had a joke that between us we had the the strongest brain cell in the world. After all the beer we have had we figured that we only had one brain cell, but it was had to very strong in order to survie
