Advice Needed

I have been asked an important question: What time does Santa visit?

The standard response ("after you go to sleep") was not accepted.

More specific details are required. Is there a timetable involved? Does he do the houses in the same order as the mailman (one side of the street and then the other) or the garbageman (alternating left and right down the street)?

Oh and telling him the truth is not a winner - he just thinks we don't know about Santa.

Any advice appreciated.

My son has figured out that Santa isn't real. He did this on his own, using his own logic. 1st he doesn't belive in magic and since Santa is magical Santa isn't real.

Now for the reason he doesn't belive in magic. Because if magic was real then superheros would be real, and if superheros are real then superpowers would be real. If superpowers were real, he would have superpowers and since he doesn't have superpowers, magic must not be real.

not to bad for a 7 year old

Hmm... I'd probably throw it right back to him by asking, "well, I'd really like to know what you think -- how do you suppose he does it? After all, the world is a very large place. It takes a great deal of time for him to get from NY to Australia! :-)

Santa has his own timezone, so it happens when he wants it to happen...not before and not after. Some day someone may figure out how that particular timezone works and relates to our system, but until then, we'll just have to hope it works at all !!

Well, according to Norad's tracking, Santa was in Sydney at 1400 GMT (I think that would be midnight, Sydney time.)
