Political promises....
Why can't our politics be as exciting as things in New Zealand? According to Spike: Lost the lot:
A New Zealand politician is planning a nude run through the streets of Auckland to fufil a campaign promise. The Green Party MP Keith Locke pledged he would dash naked through the wealthy Auckland electorate of Epsom if Rodney Hide, a right-wing candidate, won the seat. Hide won by more than 3000 votes. "I've got it worked out. I've got a top-class body painter, I've got a whole team of people who are going to be with me," Locke told New Zealand's National Radio. If only it had been a non-core promise.
