I'm glad you pointed that out about the category of 'foreign' blogs -- I'll be posting about that soon. Geez, we're alll 'foreign' - including Americans. duh!

I remember trying to explain this to a friend once when he complained about two Italian ladies talking on the bus (very loudly with lots of hand waving - which hit him a couple of times). I pointed out that if he were in Italy, he would be speaking English. He agreed but pointed out that they were "foreign". I responded by suggesting that in Rome he would be the foreigner. I had to keep reminding myself in Hong Kong that I was the stranger and the fact that things were different did not mean that they were "wrong" - just different.

I hope you guys all realise the implications for everyone on this if anyone eventually manages to get all the foreigners to go back where they came from ........

We're ALL Foreigners I came across this Web event, the 2003 Weblog Awards, when reading GDay Mate this morning. Ozguru makes a valid point about the category, Best Foreign Blog. He writes: "presumably non-American." Foreign could be any blog out there -...
