Sympathy Required
Your sympathy is requested for Aussie Courier - his computer destroyed itself. Before you ask, he does not use a Mac - he doesn't like Macs. You might like to cheer him up by leaving a comment about computers you have known and loved.....

Having had this happen to two computers - one my own and one at work - my sympathies to Aussie Courier! Those of us afflicted with Microslosh and PC should not be mocked - some of us don't have a choice!

MB has had only 1 computer [for 4 years now]...it's a Dell...nothing has ever happened to it that hasn't been MB's own fault, but it's never self-destructed. MB's sympathy to Aussie Courier for his deprivation of computer access; that must be like losing a best friend.

All that sympathy seems to have worked. Apparently with some "chewing gum and jumper leads" there is something working again in the Courier Compound. Thanks for all the positive thoughts which helped him get going again.
