I think in the US these are called "traffic circles". In Europe and the UK the sign is up the other way (i.e. point upwards instead of down). I just copied the Australian sign. If you would like a localised version of the graphic just let me know.

Someone asked for an American version of Inspiration IV" and I had a lot of trouble finding the "correct" sign for an Amercian roundabout. This one is hand drawn from a sign of one in Phoenix. It it isn't right and you can photograph one for me, I will...
